We have strict policies on shared bandwidth usage to ensure all servers have fair usages. If our system detected a bandwidth abuse, it will automatically push the IP into our "quarantine room" where its bandwidth allocation will be lowered or totally dropped.
We chose not to publicly disclose the parameters. But if you use bandwidth fairly, you can be sure your IP is not pushed into quarantine room.

Yes. By default, TCP port 25 is blocked to prevent spam. We also block all UDP traffics except for port 53 (for DNS). If you really need to use those blocked traffics, please drop us message via ticket with good reasons. For UDP ports, we may open for DDOS protected servers only.
Yes, it is optional. DDOS protection is applied only for some separated network segments with additional cost (IDR 0.088/second). We protect from DDOS attack up to 10 Gbps. If the attack is above 10 Gbps, we simply null route the IP target.
